STOPKiT® Concept

The system operates by concentrating all the needed stress in the pipe at the defect location. The hoop stress needed to stop the leak is brought by the technical strap and the screws. The strong fibers of the strap are temperature and stress resistant.

Clean the pipe and set-up the 1st part of the positioner

Install the STOPKiT®
and slide it over the leak

Set-up the 2nd part
of the positioner

Tighten up to 40Nm

Remove the positioner
STOPKiT® installed.

STOPKiT® Positioner

STOPKiT® is easily applicable thanks to the STOPKiT® Positioner tool. This special device allows to center the patch on the leak and prevents slipping during tightening

STOPKiT® Training

STOPKiT® must be installed by trained and certified applicators to ensure the effectiveness of the product. Contact us or 3X representative in your country for training certificate.
